Our Story
Find A Lawyer was founded in 2025 after seeing firsthand how hard it is to find the right lawyer in New Zealand. Generic directories gave you an alphabetical list. Referral services took a cut. Nothing actually matched you to the right firm for your specific situation.
So we built the alternative: a free matching platform that weighs practice-area fit, location, response speed, and fee transparency — and surfaces Legal Aid providers clearly, so cost is never a barrier to getting help.

Access to quality legal representation should be straightforward, transparent, and available to every New Zealander — regardless of location, income, or how much they already know about the law.
