Sarah Saunderson-Warner operates as an experienced criminal barrister specialising in serious crime matters. Her practice encompasses a wide range of criminal cases, with regular appearances in the District Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal. In recent years, her practice has been particularly notable for conducting multiple homicide trials throughout the South Island.

Her commitment to criminal law began during her studies at the University of Otago, where she completed her dissertation in sentencing, and has continued throughout her career since admission to the High Court in 2002.
